Michael Imperioli has voiced his anger against the US Supreme Court’s recent decision, which allowed a Christian web designer to continue her refusal to create website creations that celebrated same-sex weddings.

“I’ve decided to forbid bigots and homophobes from watching The Sopranos, The White Lotus, Goodfellas or any movie or tv show I’ve been in,” the 57-year-old railed on the decision on Instagram by sharing the screen grab of the news report with the headline, “Supreme Court protects web designer who won’t do gay wedding websites.”

“Thank you Supreme Court for allowing me to discriminate and exclude those who I don’t agree with and am opposed to. USA! USA!” he added.

Imperioli also called out at the apex court’s ruling in the comments, saying, “hate and ignorance is not a legitimate point of view.”

“America is becoming dumber by the minute,” he added in another comment.

The actor was involved in multiple Emmy-winning HBO series, including The Sopranos and The White Lotus.

The Supreme Court on Friday announced a 6-3 verdict in Lorie Smith’s favour, who is a Colorado-based web designer rejecting to develop websites to celebrate same-sex marriages.
